DescriptionMinton plate, moulded "Pierced Victoria" shape with reticulated interlaced border, and decorated in the Sèvres taste. The centre possibly painted by Thomas Kirkby with two cherubs playing instruments in pastel polychrome enamels outlined in puce. The rim has three large cartouche painted with linked chaplets or wreaths alternating with roundels with roses, in polychrome enamel possible by Bancroft, and details in turquoise and gold.
