DescriptionA pair of chinese porcelain vases of cylindircal form, moulded in two parts joined horizontally below the shoulders tapering towards the base with incurved shoulders and flared mouth. It is incised with double line bands at mouth, classic scroll on shoulders, hatched wave band, and stepped base unglazed burnt orange in firing. Decorated in mirror images in underglaze blue, each with a duck by a pond with aterlilies hovering bird in flight under a lily pad, and insects.
