DescriptionA Deruta Papal polychrome dish with the Medici arms of Pope Clement VII within green surround and a shaped yellow and green mask. The scroll cartouche is suspending dark ochre tassels beneath the tiara and crossed keys of St. Peter. The a quartieri border in a similar palette with scale-pattern and foliage scrolls repeated thrice.
