DescriptionMeissen armorial double saltcellars from the Imperial Service of St. Andrew the First Called. They have a shaped hour-glass form, and are on four gilt shell and rococo-scroll feet. The recessed tops are painted with fritilleries, lily-of-the-valley, narcissus and other flowers. The sides are moulded with Gotzkowsky erhabene Blumen between the Imperial Russian arms and the Badge of the Order of St. Andrew the First Called, alternating beneath a gilt Gitterwerk.
