DescriptionA Pair of Meissen figures of Harlequin and Columbine on contemporary ormolu mounts forming two-light candelabra, modelled by J. J. Kandler. Harlequin is wearing green hat, and his coat with chequer-pattern and cards, and is playing the bagpipes. Columbine is playing the hurdy-gurdy and wears a green hat, pink bodice and yellow kirtle. The pierced wave-scroll bases with painted branches are mounted with German and French porcelain flowers, ormolu nozzles, and pierced wax pans. Candalabra and flowers date to early 1900's.
