DescriptionMeissen group modelled by J. J. Kaendler, called "The Impetuous Lover", with the Lover on his knees before a seated lady who averts her face. Cupid, who is perched on the Lover's back, pulls his hair and holds a bow in his right hand. Behind these figures stands Harlequin, resplendent in chequered costume of lilac, yellow and black, laughing and mocking the Lover. The flat oval base has applied leaves and flowers, with a lamb seated behind the Lady.
